Dr. William Gibson graduated from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry, class of 1982.
Prior to studying at Dental School, he attended Miami of Ohio where he attained his undergraduate degree with a major in Chemistry.
Almost all of Dr. Gibsons post graduate study has been devoted to Dental Implants. Dr.G adheres to the teachings and guides of the following four implant specialists, Dr. David D'Alise with OCO Biomedical,Inc., Dr. Carl Misch, and Dr.Randy Resnik as a group philosophy, and Dr. G Nisnik.
Dr. Gibson actually placed his first surgical implant back in 1988 under the guidence of Dr.Doug Clepper at his Agusta Ga. teaching clinic. At that time I started placing the first "core-vent" type implants that were introduced by Dr. Gerry Nisnik, now owner of Implant Direct Inc.
Dr. Gibson has been practicing for over 26 years. He has been in his current location on Central Ave. for 6 years. He took over for Dr.Carlo Rumbolo when Dr. Rumbolo set up a new practice in Ft. Myers.
Since he began practicing dentistry, Dr. Gibson has kept up to date on many continuing educational classes, ensuring that his patients receive the most comprehensive and advanced dental care. Currently Dr. Gibson is developing his skill placing the "no-prep" nano veneers for esthetics.
Dr. Gibson is married and has three sons, Ryan (16) , Gregory (6) , and Andy (4). He keeps active with his wife Anne in the many community sporting activities with their kids. Keeping in balance with daily exercise at the Naples Wellness center is their key to enjoying a healthy lifestyle.
"One of my most memorable and exciting years in Naples was 5 years ago when I was lucky enough to be selected as the head coach for my sons flag football team." Our team, the "Steelers" went undefeated with an 11 win season at the Flieshman Park recreation field.
My wife, Anne, leads the cheering section as well as stepping up to referee when the boys are displaying "unsportsmen like conduct"........ 15 yards and a time out !

Anne is a University of Iowa graduate with a double major, Go Hawkeyes !
